Articles from over the years.
Most about Monocoupes, but some about the golden age of air racing and other antique airplane related stuff. Some of these link to pages which are 700KB to 800KB per page, so be aware of the download time. All of the links below will open a new browser.
Sportsman Pilot article on NC18629, a 1931 Monocoupe 110, restored by Ted Hendrickson Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, Page 4. This aircraft is currently on display at the Western Aero Museum at Oakland airport. It is a beautiful Monocoupe and if you are passing through OAK or near there it is well worth the stop to see it. Here are pictures I have taken of N18629.
Sport Aviation, June 1987, article on the Kinner ‘Coupe, the only existing Kinner powered Monocoupe 125 page 1, page 2, page 3.

Bob Jellison’s web site about his fathers flying service, Jellison Flying Service, which owned a Monocoupe Model 90, NC187K. There are two pictures of NC187K on his web site and Bob sent along scans of 7 photos of the plane. These are great vintage photos.
Don Warrington’s web site with information about Langley Day. Don’s grandfather, Chet Warrington organized these events, which took place at College Park airport, College Park, MD, in May of 1933 and 1934. Tony Little and NC12350 were very successful as the results show.
The Long Island Aviation Country Club, of which, Reginald “Pete” Brooks, was a member. Pete Brooks flew his Monocoupe 110 in many exciting exhibitions during the mid 30’s.
The Philadelphia Aviation Country Club, located at Wings Field, just five miles from Patco Field where NC12350 was based, hosted many aviation related events.
San Diego Air and Space Museum photo archives, with a search criteria of “mono” pulls up tons of really neat photos of Monocoupes.
